Overview
The Florida Department of Health required professionally designed print materials to support public-facing healthcare and paramedicine program communications. Toucan Design contributed graphic design, print design, offset printing, collateral development, and ADA-conscious production support to help create materials that were clear, credible, and visually organized. The project focused on translating important healthcare information into a polished printed format that could serve both educational and program-related needs.Challenge
A key challenge for this project was presenting detailed healthcare and program information in a format that felt approachable, easy to navigate, and appropriate for a government health audience. Public-sector materials often need to balance clarity, professionalism, and accessibility, while also maintaining consistency with institutional standards. The content needed to be organized carefully so that readers could engage with complex information more easily, without sacrificing the accuracy or seriousness of the subject matter.Solution
Toucan Design developed a clean and structured print design approach for the Florida Department of Health that supported readability, professionalism, and stronger visual communication. Through thoughtful layout, collateral design, and high-quality print production, the materials were shaped into a format that felt more accessible and easier to use. With ADA considerations also informing the work, the final pieces helped communicate important healthcare program information in a way that was both polished and practical for the intended audience.Florida Department of Health Paramedicine Program Guidebook Design
