Specialty Management & Environmental (SME) operates in a highly specialized industrial and environmental services space, with a focus on refractory management and reuse-based material recovery. Toucan Design supported the company through rebranding and website development, helping modernize the brand and create a stronger digital presence that better reflected the company’s expertise. Because the industry is so niche, the project also involved the creation of custom AI-generated imagery to help visually communicate SME’s services in a way that standard stock photography could not.Challenge
One of the biggest challenges for SME was clearly presenting a highly technical service offering within a niche industry that lacks strong off-the-shelf visual assets. The company needed a brand identity and website that could communicate professionalism, capability, and industry credibility while making complex services easier for prospective clients to understand. At the same time, the visual side of the project required a more creative solution, since traditional stock images were not suitable for accurately representing the company’s specialized work.Solution
