OBTNext is a government-focused initiative that required a modern website presence to communicate planning efforts, community updates, and project information in a clear and accessible way. Toucan Design supported the project through web design, website development, content management system integration, graphic design, and project photography, helping transform the site into a more polished and functional public-facing resource. A major challenge for OBTNext was organizing a large amount of public project information into a format that felt approachable, well-structured, and easy to navigate. Government and planning-related websites often need to balance transparency, documentation, and public engagement, which can quickly become overwhelming if the user experience is not carefully considered. The site needed to better present updates, meetings, plans, and visual materials in a way that would support clarity and encourage continued public interaction.Solution
Toucan Design created a refreshed website experience for OBTNext that improved the way project information was organized, presented, and accessed online. The redesign introduced a cleaner interface and stronger visual hierarchy, helping users move more easily through content related to meetings, updates, planning materials, and community examples.
